Laura Alonso, spokesperson for the Government of the City of Buenos Aires and a prominent figure in the PRO, has openly criticized the lack of concrete proposals from Adorni and other candidates, pointing out that the only representative voice of the party in the race is that of Silvia Lospennato.
"There is no more debate because Adorni and Santoro do not want to debate," Alonso declared, emphasizing that the other candidates have not presented clear proposals nor have they spoken out about PRO's initiatives in matters of security and urban management. Alonso also criticized Adorni's stance on issues such as increasing penalties for minor offenses, stating that the people of Buenos Aires do not want extreme options that could harm fundamental services like SAME.
In the framework of these criticisms, Alonso supported the figure of Mauricio Macri, founder of PRO, and thanked him for his support in the campaign. She expressed that she would like to hear Adorni and Santoro commit to the law that seeks to toughen penalties for minor offenses, one of the main proposals of PRO.
Despite the criticisms of Adorni, Alonso revealed that PRO is seeking to establish an alliance with La Libertad Avanza for the elections in the Province of Buenos Aires. She lamented the lack of dialogue with Karina Milei, leader of LLA, for an alliance in the City.
Alonso also lashed out at the management of the national Government, characterizing it as an "indiscriminate chainsaw" and highlighting the importance of proposals like those of PRO to ensure safety in the City. She pointed out Adorni and Santoro's evasion of the debate with Lospennato, which, according to her, shows a lack of commitment to citizens and relevant issues.
Regarding PRO's strategy in the province, Alonso mentioned that discussions about the alliance with LLA will be postponed until after the local elections on May 18. She reflected the party's intention to continue growing and prepare future generations of leaders.
Alonso criticized Adorni's candidacy as lacking substance, expressing frustration over the lack of dialogue with Karina Milei and stating that extreme policies are not suitable for maintaining the quality of essential services in the City.
